The OptiMate 6 Select (model: TM371v2) fully sealed automatic battery saving charger is a versatile all-rounder for the 12V batteries in all your vehicles and craft, from the lithium LFP battery your off-road or sports motorcycle to the lead-acid performance battery in your passenger car or boat. To get you going quickly it can deliver 6 Amps of charge safely to the battery of your vehicle or craft with the Ampmatic control adjusting current lower for the smaller batteries in your motorcycle or personal watercraft.

For your vehicles with high-performance batteries, you can select the correct charge mode to ensure it performs right, including the sealed AGM (absorbent glass mat) battery in your cruiser motorcycle or luxury car or a lithium LFP/LiFePO4 battery in your motorcycle or super car.

And you can charge in any weather, as not only are the cables and the charger rated for use down to minus 40 degrees, but the integrated thermal sensor also actively adjusts charge voltage / current according to ambient temperature. Your battery will be charged safely and right, never-mind the weather. 

Best of all, it automatically saves a dead flat battery from as low as ½ a volt, bringing back to life batteries other chargers can’t with special recovery methods for each battery type.

Very smart, yet as easy as 1-2-3 to use, 1) SELECT the battery mode matching the battery you want to charge, 2) CONNECT to the battery and 3) step back, the rest is fully automatic!  The OptiMate6 Select automatically saves, charges, tests the battery. Leave it connected, even for weeks or months, and OptiMate’s proven 24-7 ‘connect & forget’ safe care makes sure your vehicle’s battery remains ready.

Smart Selection: 3 battery mode selections 1) Pb - standard lead-acid 2) AGM -high performance lead-acid, and 3) LFP - performance lithium before charging. Selection remains in memory and is unaffected by loss of AC power or battery disconnection. Connect to the same battery and it charges automatically, or if AC power is disrupted whilst charging, once power returns it automatically continues charging according to the memorized selection. No supervision required!

Service mode : Delivers a fixed 13.6V at 5 Amps that is ideal for troubleshooting or updating settings when the engine is not running. Also ideal for vehicle demo use, the service mode will deliver full power during the demo and will recharge the battery after.

AmpMatic : smart current control technology automatically adjusts current between 6A and 1A to charge any size of 12V lead-acid (Pb) or LFP lithium battery - smaller battery gets less current, bigger battery gets more!

T°-SAFE: T°-SAFE: Automatic temperature regulation : Pb & AGM: Charge voltage set at default temperature of 25°C, with adjustment of -18mV / °C. LFP: Charge current is reduced below 0°C (32°F) or above 45°C (113°F) to protect the battery from damage.

SAFE: Smart electronics protects against accidental reverse polarity connection. No sparks if clamps touch as the output remains off until it is connected to a battery with voltage.

LOW VOLT START & SAVE: Saves a dead-flat battery from as low as 0.5V. Lead-acid Pb & AGM mode: smart desulphation to get the battery to accept charge, followed by pulse recovery charge to bring it back to life. LFP mode: safe ‘charge & test’ recovery mode for LFP lithium during which the health of the battery is carefully monitored. If damage is detected, charging is interrupted.
