OptiMate PRO1 DUO : PRO series - motorcycle: 12V 10A lead-acid & lithium diagnostic battery charger, tester & power-supply

The OptiMate PRO1 DUO (model: TM650) is the professional combination battery charger-tester & power supply for motorcycle, ATV, UTV & small craft / machine professionals, repair shops and battery retailers.

Three selectable modes include 1) 12V lead-acid (STD/FLA, AGM, GEL), 2) 12.8V/13.2V LFP (LiFePO4) to activate new batteries, or recover, charge and test neglected used batteries, or recharge the battery on a vehicle in for service / repair, and 3) Power-Supply for battery support during vehicle diagnostics, tuning or troubleshooting.

The built-in charging automation is a time saver for a service technician: Select the battery type (12V Pb or 12.8V / 13.2V LFP) and connect to the battery and once the green TEST LED blinks, the battery is ready!

The fully automatic battery modes include Ampmatic current control, that enables charging of any size of motorcycle / small vehicle battery without the need to pre-select current. Activating a new battery for sale or for use in a new vehicle undergoing PDI (pre-delivery inspection) is rapidly achieved, typically within one hour.

The Power-Supply mode makes electrical troubleshooting or updating of software on the vehicle easy. A fixed voltage of 13.6V is delivered, with current of up to 9 Amps available to support the battery against drain by vehicle systems. Power-Supply will deliver power to an on-vehicle battery measuring at least 11.4V.  A hanging hook is included for ease of use at the vehicle.

AmpMatic : smart current control technology automatically adjusts current between 1A and 10A to charge any size of 12V Pb/lead-acid or 12.8V / 13.2V LFP Lithium battery - smaller battery gets less current, bigger battery gets more!

Test after / during charging : during charging the battery’s recovery is tracked to confirm it is accepting charge as expected, vitally important for LFP lithium batteries, AND, after charging to see if the battery is holding charge, with up to 6 different results indicated on the LED test panel. 

SAFE: Smart electronics protects against accidental reverse polarity connection. No sparks if clamps touch as the output remains off until it is connected to a battery with voltage.

SAVES FLAT BATTERIES: With Pb mode selected, it can save a dead-flat Pb / lead-acid battery from as low as 0.5V, with smart desulphation to get the battery to accept charge, followed by pulse recovery charge to bring it back to life. With LFP mode selected, it it can save a dead-flat LFP battery from as low as 0.5V and continuously tests the battery to check for shorted or damaged cells. A LFP battery with advanced BMS that protects against over discharge, can be recovered with the BMS reset mode.

SERVICE : select 13.6V power-supply mode for battery support.
